Success According To God's Design...

I'm wondering, has it become the case that you so want things to be a certain way that you're starting to become impatient and frustrated?

Even worse, is your over-anxiousness starting to move you towards wrong choices and decisions...in an effort to MAKE the good you want come to you faster?

My friend, you don't "make" good come to you. Rather, you DO the right things that LET good MATERIALIZE in your life.

Maybe, after you finish reading this article, it would be a good time for you to open up your Bible to the story of Abraham and Sara and the mistakes they made...the pain they cost themselves...the trouble they caused themselves and others...trouble that's still going on today...all because they were over-anxious to have the child God had told them He would give them.

Now, permit me to remind you of something...

God's primary mode of operation is the Law of Sowing and Reaping...the Law of Seasons...the Law of Process...

YOUR business is sowing right thoughts and right actions so that you reap the good you desire.

And here's the deal...there is ALWAYS an interval of time between the sowing and reaping. No person has ever planted something good and immediately harvested the fruits and rewards...never!

What is that period in the middle between planting and harvesting?

It's the period of GROWTH, right?

It's YOUR time for growth...it's YOUR time to increase your capacity to provide value to mankind and your ability to bring glory to God.

So, when you ACCEPT God's design of sowing...GROWTH...reaping, THEN life becomes much easier, happier, and enjoyable. There's far less stress and frustration. You can just relax into knowing that your good is on its way...that it is materializing.

And besides...right now...during this period when YOU GET TO GROW...everything really is ok. Is it perfect and ideal? Probably not...but overall, you really are ok.

Now, let me make a slight shift...the sooner a person gets focused on sowing their OWN good, the sooner they can start reaping their OWN good.

Why am I saying this?

There are those people who both sow "bad stuff" in their own garden of life and they neglect taking care of it. But, when harvest time comes, they don't want the LACK that their "LACK of good sowing" has produced.

So then, they look around and want some "neighbor" who has sowed "goodness and blessings"...one who harnessed and directed his/her mind and activities for goodness and blessings...one who put a lot of hard work into taking care of his/her garden of life...to give of his/her good harvest to them...even though they've done nothing to deserve or earn the good that the "neighbor" has worked so hard to produce.

In Matthew 25 we read about 10 virgins...all of them were good people...but five of them were wise ones who took care of their OWN good...and the other five were foolish because they "wanted" the wise ones to give them of their "good"...and they were instructed to go get their own good for themselves.

We each have to take care of our own harvest by first sowing and then growing into the harvest we want.

That's the model the Bible gives us.

Peace, love, and blessings,
Lane

God's Gift That Gives You Everything You Want

Are you aware that God has given you a special gift that has unfathomable potential?

Do you realize this gift God has given you is everything you need to get and enjoy all that you want to get and enjoy...this gift is everything you need to be able to help the people God wants you to help?

Did you know that when you accept and embrace this gift it brings you unending joy, happiness, and satisfaction?

Oddly enough, there are some people who have not accepted this gift from God...some have even went so far as to refuse this gift.

What is this gift I'm speaking of?

The gift of work...the gift of achieving and accomplishing...the gift of producing and providing.

Now, consider this...

Anything that a wealthy person does to create wealth a non-wealthy person can do too.

Anything that a person with money is doing to create money...well, a person without money could do the same thing to create money too.

But, they don't.

It has to do with their perspective, their focus, their attention...and their willingness.

For example, wealthy people are concerned about being valuable...about creating and delivering value to other people.

That's something that anyone can do.

But, non-wealthy people aren't concerned about value...they're concerned about just getting by. Or, they're concerned about WHO is going to GIVE them what they want...and those are the people who are really suffering financially.

Wealthy people TALK to other people to FIND OUT what they would pay money for.

That's something that anyone can do.

Wealthy people take what they LEARN from people and they creatively come up with a way to PROVIDE people with what they will pay for.

That's something that anyone can do.

Wealthy people MARKET and SELL whatever it is that they've come up with that people want and will pay for.

That's something that anyone can do.

Really, it is!

Right now, if you really put your mind to it, you could begin doing all of these things that wealthy people do. And, if you wanted to be smart about it, you could go to your local library, check out an armload of books and in a week or two, you'd have enough knowledge on these subjects to get started.

Literally, one to two weeks of study and research is all you need...the rest of what you need to learn you can learn AFTER you GET STARTED.

Getting started...that too is something that anyone can do.

But only successful, wealthy people actually do.

It's interesting...successful, wealthy people became that way because they were willing to get started right where they were at with whatever resources they had. And, if you track back to the roots of MOST successful, wealthy people you'll invariably find that that "where they were at" wasn't exactly the greatest of circumstances...and the "resources they had" were quite limited...and THEY STARTED ANYWAY.

They started SMALL and through the GIFT OF WORK, their circumstances improved and their resources increased.

But strangely, non-wealthy people don't want to start small. They want somebody to GIVE them several million dollars so they can start BIG!

Non-wealthy people want to go from a non-existent enterprise to an internationally recognized enterprise...they want to go from no resources to unlimited resources...and they want this to happen almost instantly...without any pain, embarrassment, or abasement on their part.

Thousands and thousands of people have told me that God called them to a ministry...and even though God "called" them, they are ready to give up and abandon their calling because they don't know how to go from nothing to international...they don't know how to go from nothing to unlimited resources...so they do little to nothing...except complain to people and God about how God called them but He won't give them the resources they need...

But, He did! He already gave you what you needed. He gave you...

The gift of work!

STARTING HUGE is NOT God's model of ministry or business. Go read your Bible...you'll find that God's model is ALWAYS about starting SMALL.

God's model is always about YOU starting small...humbling yourself down...abasing yourself...so that God can make you great.

It's in your Bible...from front to back!

We could use any great person from the Bible but let's use King David. God "called" him to be King of Israel...David was literally anointed by God's prophet to be the King of Israel and yet it was years before he actually reached that position. And, before he reached that position, the Bible recounts what a lowly, humble, and in several cases humiliating and embarrassing lifestyle David lived.

How many people do you know that are willing to humble themselves down to a small and lowly lifestyle so that God can bless and exalt them?

What about you?

There's more...

In the case of David, the whole time he was small and lowly, he was busy WORKING, doing the best that he knew how to do before God and man.

This mindset that David had is revealed to us by his son in Ecclesiastes 2:14... "The wise man's eyes are in his head".

In other words, a wise person...a successful person isn't looking around at what's OUTSIDE of them and letting what's OUTSIDE of them dictate what they can or cannot do. Rather, they are using their IMAGINATION to "see" good things and then they WORK accordingly to the best of their ability.

Maybe, that's a shift in perspective that you need to make?

The gift of God...

Everything you want is dependent upon YOU embracing this gift.

All your hopes and dreams...

Ecclesiastes 5:3 says, "For a dream cometh through the multitude of business [much work]"

Notice, the Bible doesn't say your dreams will come to you through some person giving you a gift out of their bounty.

A person can continue to want someone else to give them their good...a person can keep looping on that strategy...but I don't advise that approach because it only serves to keep your good pushed away from you. What brings your good to you is WORK.

But, don't take my advice...take God's...

Ecclesiastes 3:13 tells us... "that every man should...enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God."

What "good" is your labor producing?

Consider that question carefully because all the good that which you wish to enjoy is dependent upon YOUR labor.

Work...it's God's gift...it's God's design...it's God's model...

Ecclesiastes 2:24 says, "There is nothing better for a man, than...that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God."

Peace, love, and blessings,
Lane

How To Manifest A Miracle

I hope this really inspires you...

I hope this really encourages you, builds your hope, and increases your faith...

All too often, people have a problem...maybe its money, health, or a relationship...

And they start dwelling on what they DON'T have and what they THINK they need.

They GENERATE a lot of unpleasant feelings as they dwell on these things.

They think they need someone to give them some money.

They think they need a better doctor.

They think they need a different husband or wife.

Actually, they don't really need any of these "needs". These are all SECONDARY "needs". These are all DERIVATIVES of the PRIMARY NEED...

The primary NEED is to be in right relationship with God through Jesus Christ and to obey God rather than men.

Let's explore...

Most people know about the scripture that says, "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33)

There's a BIG difference between knowing ABOUT something and KNOWING something.

That's why it's so important that we spend significant time STUDYING they Bible and SEEKING the truth's Jesus said are HIDDEN from the carnal person.

Now, we're ready to go deeper...

Let's look at the Biblical account of Jesus' first miracle in John chapter 2.

Verse 3 says, "They have NO wine."

So, right off the bat, we see a LACK problem. We find that there is a significant need.

What about you? Do you have a LACK problem? Do you have a significant need?

Do you – like the people in this story – have need of a miracle?

Well, God is a God of miracles...but miracles are at the END of the line...not at the FRONT!

Witness verse 5 that says, "Whatsoever he saith unto you, DO IT."

Uh oh...there's the real clincher...YOU HAVE GOT TO DO SOMETHING FIRST!

That's why I say you don't need someone to give you money. You don't need a better doctor. You don't need a different husband or wife. YOU NEED A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST WHERE GOD WILL SPEAK THE WORD TO YOUR HEART AND MIND OF WHAT YOU NEED TO DO.

It's AFTER you start DOING whatever it is that God speaks to your heart to do that the miraculous can occur.

But, you've got to DO what God tells you to DO with FULL PASSION AND INTENSITY.

In verse 7 we read, "And they filled them up to the brim." The servants in this story didn't half-way fill the pots that Jesus commanded them to fill. THEY FILLED THEM ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP. They put all they could into what they were doing. They went all the way.

Now, AND ONLY NOW, do we finally get to God's part...

Verse 9 says, "and knew not whence it was".

Somewhere, between DOING their part of filling the water pots and taking them out to the wedding party the miraculous power of God took over the work of their hands and blessed it – and the water became wine.

Right now, do you know how God is going to work everything out in your life and in your situation?

In most cases, the answer is, "I don't have a clue", right?

But, that doesn't matter...as you DO what the Lord has told you to do THEN, AND ONLY THEN will the miraculous come out of that which is unseen and unknown BY US – BUT WHICH IS FULLY SEEN AND FULLY KNOWN BY GOD!

It's true!

It really is. This is how it works.

Get a close look at verse 11, "This beginning of miracles did Jesus...and MANIFESTED FORTH HIS GLORY"

God WANTS TO MANIFEST FORTH HIS GLORY IN YOUR LIFE.

Do you realize that?

Can you really, truly, fully grasp that God really does want to do the wonderful and miraculous in your life?

But, it's about YOU and God...just the two of you.

You don't need something from someone else. You don't need other people to do something or give you something.

Right now, God isn't the least interested in someone doing whatever it is that you think they ought to do or that you want them to do.

Right now, God isn't the least interested in someone giving you whatever it is that you think you want them to give you.

Sure, when God ultimately performs the miraculous, it will probably involve other people that God has orchestrated to be a part your blessing...

But, like I said, that's all SECONDARY AND INCIDENTAL to the primary thing...

You having the kind of relationship with God where He will speak to your heart what He wants YOU to do and you OBEYING His voice.

That's what it's all about.

Moreover, as you are DOING what God has spoken to your heart to do, inevitably you'll be helping and blessing other people.

That's a good thing...

"Whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:8)

When you fully get this concept of you doing your part so that God can do his part, your life will never, ever be the same.

It will never be the same because you'll no longer waste time waiting around for a miracle.

You'll never again sit around unhappy because someone else isn't doing something or giving you something.

Instead, you'll quickly start seeking whatever it is that God wants you to do and you'll do it as unto the Lord, knowing that in the unseen and the unknown, the Power of God will begin working to bless abundantly that which you are doing...and you'll proceed with full confidence, with full faith that THE MIRACULOUS IS GOING TO HAPPEN in due process of time.

Don't be bothered by how small your start is.

Don't let the small scale of things right now frustrate you when you can envision things on a much grander scale.

Scale is God's business not yours.

When God is ready...when God has got YOU ready...then He will scale things up to bigger proportions. You don't have to worry about that.

All you have to do is OBEY and DO whatever it is that God speaks to your heart to do. Everything else will be taken care of by God.

Isn't that wonderful to know?

Doesn't that release a lot of pressure off of you?

Can you step into the freedom of LETTING God lead you by speaking to your heart what it is He wants you to DO?

Can you relax into the peace and joy of knowing that as you do your part, God will do His part?

Peace, love, and blessings,
Lane

Let's talk about "Mustard Seed" faith...

I cannot count the number of people I've encountered who want someone ELSE (or something ELSE like the lottery) to give them their first million so that they can THEN go do something in the Kingdom of God.

Unfortunately for these folks, they either don't realize – or don't want to realize – that what they want doesn't line up with God's Word.

They are unaware that they are WORKING AGAINST themselves because they are trying to do things CONTRARY to God's Word.

Consider these scriptures:

"Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof." Matthew 13:31-32

"And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it." Mark 4:30-32

"Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into HIS garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it." Luke 13:18-19

In these verses, we can see that things that are blessed of God START with something SMALL that is PLANTED in OUR garden (ministered in our ministry) so that God can bless it and cause it to GROW and BECOME something GREAT.

The problem is, many people are unwilling to humble themselves DOWN to the point where they can start SMALL so that God can do HIS work of GROWING something GREAT in their lives.

They FEAR what other people will think of them and in PRIDE they refuse to humble themselves to a "low estate". And that's such a shame because the rewards are HUGE for those who let go of their "people" consciousness and embrace a "God" consciousness.

That's part one. Here's part two...

Lots of people talk about these two verses:

"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Matthew 17:20

"And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you." Luke 17:6

Now, I'm sure you can agree with me that lots of people want this kind of faith where they can just SAY, "Give me money" and money will come to them. But, as Jesus told us in Matthew 4:4 and in Luke 4:4, we've got to LIVE according to the entire Word of God.

What this means is that we need to connect the preceding scriptures of starting small with scriptures like:

"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Luke 6:38

"Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord" Ephesians 6:8

WHEN people make this connection, THEN they'll have something that will REALLY WORK in their lives.

Here's the thing; I don't care who you are and I don't care what you DON'T have...

EVERYBODY has SOMETHING – however small it may be – that they can give as unto the Lord – they have something they can plant in the Kingdom of God.

Which means; the sooner you start giving and planting, the sooner you start ministering in your ministry, the sooner you can SPEAK to that which you've given, planted, and ministered, the sooner God can bless it to become something great.

Peace, love, and blessings,
Lane Fox

The Two Things That ALWAYS Precede God-Given Wealth, Riches, And Success…

Today, I hope to really encourage you…

Today, I hope to help you understand what’s really going on…

Today, I’m going to give you some of the most important advice that ANYONE could ever give you…

Let me start by quoting an email – and I get emails similar to this by the boatload which tells me that there are a lot of people struggling with this same issue. Here’s the email…

“I asked from the Lord to make me a millionaire this year.

The pastor of our church prayed on December 31st 2007 that 3 people will become potentially millionaires in the church congregation because we realized that Jesus made himself poor for us to be rich. And also because he considers us as his spouse, so a spouse can't be poor as we are nowadays.

After this prayer I believed in my heart that this prophecy was for me. My heart beats all the time since that day. Few months after the lord showed his faithfulness and I was receiving money I never expected to get. But I realized that the money I was receiving disappeared as soon as I was using the money.

I was faithful to God and paid my tithes and offerings. The Lord connected me to business venture and I even started to get involved in a multimillionaire company. I knew it was from God, but now I feel as if it is all going astray.

I’m stuck financially and still believe that God can make a millionaire in a miraculous way by the end of the year. My faith is strong as solid stone.

I never fainted but I am always positive although the circumstances. I believe in my heart I deserve to have that amount of money because I fear the Lord with all my heart. I pray for God to keep me under his wings. I hope you have a response to my prayers.

Sincerely,
Ms. B”

Now, the specifics of your situation are probably quite different than Ms. B’s but can you relate to things just not working out the way you want them to?

Well, if you can, here’s what you need to know…

All is well…all is right on track…the good you desire is coming – if you faint not.

All these things that are happening and then seem to not work out are God’s way of educating you, of building you up, of “trying” you to see if you’ll hold to faith.

The Bible is given to us for an example and when we study it, we learn that there’s always an “Egypt” experience followed by a “Wilderness” experience. And, it’s only after both of these experiences that we get the “Promised Land” experience.

As you well know, God came to Moses in a burning bush and personally told him to go tell Pharaoh to let God’s people go.

That’s a pretty direct calling, wouldn’t you say?

And yet, Moses shows up in Egypt, does what the Lord tells him, and EVERYTHING GOES FROM BAD TO WORSE!

Have you ever had that experience?

Well, in Moses's case, he does what God tells him to do and NOW he has all of Egypt hating him AND all of Israel hating him.

Then, after Moses and the Children of Israel finally do get out of Egypt, they find themselves wandering in the desert…wearing the same pair of clothes and shoes way longer than they wanted to…eating the same kind of food until they were sick of it…often wondering where their next drink of water was going to come from…

That's a pretty serious thing...go without water for a few days and you'll soon enough be dead.

Can you relate to being in an experience where you're not even sure how you're going to survive?

And yet, at the same time, God was doing amazing, miraculous things for them like giving them a perfectly climate-controlled environment via a cloud by day and pillar of fire by night, their shoes never wearing out, the money and resources to build an amazing temple for God, etc.

Look around you...in spite of all the things that aren't exactly the way you want them...what are the amazing, unbelievable, surreal things that God has done – and is doing – for you?

Well, for the children of Israel – those who stayed faithful to God – there soon enough came a day when they crossed over into the Promised Land – just as God promised they would.

It’s all the same for you. You’re on your way…

You’re on your way to your specific Promised Land…

You’ve got to take a pit-stop at your specific “Egypt” first…

Then, you’ve got to pass through your specific “Wilderness”…

And, whether you’re in your “Egypt” or your “Wilderness”…

Everything’s fine right now…

It really is…

Sure, it may even look like you’re going to lose something that’s important to you in the near future…

But, as of this very moment, everything really is ok.

And amazingly, everything’s going to work out for the very best. You’ll see.

Believe it or not, you really are going to end up in your very own God-given Promised Land – if you’ll just keep holding to the dream.

As far as the timing of things…

One of the ordinances that God has set up is a “Gestation” period.

If you plant a seed, there’s a gestation period before the seed appears visibly as a plant. Because people have planted a lot of seeds, we know what the gestation period is.

If a woman gets pregnant, we know from experience, there’s a 9-month gestation period before she gets to physically hold the baby.

We understand this from the natural side of things. But for some reason, we want to ignore this – we don’t want to accept this – on the spiritual side of things.

The fact is, there IS a gestation period for “spiritual” seeds too.

The difference is that because it’s a spiritual seed – and you’ve never “planted” this kind of seed before, you don’t have enough experience to know exactly what the gestation period is.

So, just because you don’t yet see when, where, or how the money you believe for is coming doesn’t mean it’s not coming. It just means that it’s still in its gestation period.

And, there’s nothing wrong for believing for it to happen within a period of a year. But, if it doesn’t show up in a year, that just means you “misjudged” the gestation period a bit and it’s still on its way.

Now, the question you may be asking is, “Is there some way to speed up the gestation period?”

The answer is yes. It’s by doing two things:

One, it’s getting yourself a mastermind partner. A mastermind partner gives you extra insight, wisdom, knowledge, experience, perspective, and help – which makes it possible for you to achieve your success faster, with fewer mistakes, with fewer setbacks, and fewer losses. (Check out this website: http://www.christianmastermind.com/)

Two, begin to serve people on a greater scale.

Prosperity is equal to serving people in a meaningful way on a large scale.

Let me repeat that…

Prosperity is equal to serving people in a meaningful way on a large scale.

The greater one serves people, the greater their prosperity.

Too often, people think becoming a millionaire is about getting lucky in some way and a bundle of money falling into their lap with little to no effort on their part.

People who think this way will NEVER become millionaires because they’re not following God’s model.

People who become millionaires are people who LEARN to serve others in a meaningful, valuable way.

Think about that word, “learn”…

Learning is often a laborious, arduous, unpleasant journey (i.e. “Egypt” and “Wilderness”).

But again, this is where a mastermind partner can help you identify ways that you can provide greater service and thereby attain prosperity faster than you can by yourself.

So, as it pertains to the good that you desire, remember these key points:

  1. In order to receive God’s blessings, you must be WILLING to first pass through “Egypt” and the “Wilderness” and only then will God bring you into your “Promised Land”.
  2. Prosperity is equal to serving people in a meaningful way on a large scale.
  3. Have a mastermind partner.

Do you fully realize the incredible value and importance in what I’ve just shared with you?

Yes, I believe you do!

Peace, love, and blessings,
Lane Fox

How To Bring The Impossible Into Your Possession...

Consider what God tells you in this verse:

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” -- Psalms 2:8

Now, apply this verse to yourself like this:

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the [SEEMINGLY IMPOSSIBLE] for thy possession.

What EXACTLY is it that’s seemingly impossible that you would like to have in your possession?

You do know that “with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26)” don’t you?

Can you really, truly, fully ACCEPT and RECEIVE and BELIEVE that?

It’s important that you be able to because Jesus said, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. (Mark 9:23)”

From there, there are some things that YOU can and should do. Jesus sums it up nicely in Matthew 7:7-8:

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

So, after you ask for the seemingly impossible, you can go ahead and do the seeking and the knocking that God wills for you to do. You’ll be a better person for the doing of it.

And beyond that, well, God will take care of all that. Jesus tells us that too: “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. (Luke 18:27)”

My friend, all is well and all grows better.

Have you ever thought about how good you’ve become at feeling and experiencing turmoil and struggle and frustration over how DISTANT and IMPOSSIBLE that which you want seems?

Did you know that you could become just as good at feeling faith and experiencing success just by applying the simple ASK formula of Asking, Seeking, Knocking?

Peace, Love, and Blessings,

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 10

The Bible doesn’t tell us to sit around complaining about that which we want to God.

The Bible doesn’t tell us to gripe about what we want to everybody that will listen.

The Bible doesn’t tell us to waste precious days, weeks, months, and years “wishing” for what we want.

The Bible doesn’t tell us to dwell upon all the reasons why we can’t have what we want.

So, what are we supposed to do?

We are supposed to say what we want and we are to fully believe that we will have it.

One more time, I present Mark 11:23-24 to you: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

So, start doing, thinking, and acting as if what you want were truly TANGIBLE.

Here’s an example of what I mean. Start paying tithes at the income level you want to be at. If you can’t pay at that level yet, then start paying at a higher and higher level as you can. Never doubt, God will “match” you.

As far as I can tell, there are only two areas where God challenges us to try him. One, He challenges us to try Him in the area of money so that He can bless us (Malachi 3). Two, He challenges us to “taste and see” that He is good (Psalms 34).

Give God a try. Say what you want. Believe God for it. Watch it manifest in your life.

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 9

You may find it helpful to realize that you receive from God that which you ask of Him the moment you ask for it. However, it usually takes some interval of time before it is manifested.

If you read Daniel Chapter 10, you will read how Daniel was seeking God for a certain thing. For 21 days, Daniel sought the Lord for his petition. When the Angel of the Lord brings Daniel the answer, he tells Daniel that God heard his request the very first day he sought the Lord.

And so it is with you. The moment you seriously and intentionally ask God for that which you want, God hears you – and it is INTANGIBLY yours at that very moment. Then, to turn it into the TANGIBLE, you must continue believing for it, being grateful for it, and taking action in whatever way your intuition (God speaking to you) suggests.

In other words, assuming what you want is good and Godly, it is yours the minute you ask for it and believe that you receive it. Then, you work and take action so that God can deliver it to you physically.

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 8

I want to give you a tool to help you build and maintain your faith to receive that which you want…

When someone gives you something or does something for you, you say “Thank You.” The point is, “Thank You” applies to things that are PAST TENSE.

Be sure you tell the Lord “Thank You” for all that He has done for you and given you so that you stay connected to that which He has done for you and given you.

But now, what about things you want and desire that you don’t now possess?

First, it starts with asking. Matthew 21:22 – “Whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” This is the asking part.

Then, be GRATEFUL for what you’ve asked God for.

Start telling the Lord, “I am SOOOO GRATEFUL for <that which you want manifested>”

In other words, I want you to start using the word GRATEFUL to apply to things that are FUTURE TENSE.

Let’s explore this a bit further…

Ephesians 5:20 – “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

Colossians 4:2 – “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 – “Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Hebrews 13:15-16 – “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Colossians 3:17 – “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

First, we must realize that “All Things” and “Every Thing” applies to that which has been manifested and that which has not.

Second, we must LIVE and OPERATE where that which we want manifested is FOREMOST in our mind. Specifically, notice “Always”, “Continue”, “Without Ceasing”, and “Continually”.

If we analyze The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13), we can see that prayer means giving glory and honor to God, giving thanksgiving for His goodness, asking Him for what we want, asking Him for protection and guidance, forgiving those who’ve done us wrong, all with the SOLE interest of glory to God and expansion in His Kingdom.

Now, most people view prayer as something that is an EVENT. Certainly, we should set aside time for prayer – it’s in OUR best interest to do so. But, we must also recognize that prayer is more than just an event. Prayer should also be a STATE OF MIND.

When we continuously maintain a STATE OF MIND that is focused on God glorifying His name through us combined with GRATEFULNESS for that which we have asked God for, we can EXPECT to see that which we want MANIFESTED in our life.

So, ask for what you want in prayer and then start letting God know how grateful you are that he is giving you that which you desire.

One more thing… If you feel an internal twinge when you express your gratefulness (assuming you’ve asked for something that is good and Godly), then recognize it as doubt, unbelief, and fear in you. Reject and rid yourself of all doubt, unbelief and fear.

Remember, “It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32) and “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13).

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 7

First, let’s take a look at how God operates.

In the Creation story found in Genesis Chapter 1 we see multiple instances of “And God said, …”

God’s use of words to “create” can be found over and over throughout the Bible. In fact, God tells us about His “formula” in Ezekiel 12:25 – “For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass”.

What God says shall come to pass. But words are just thoughts made audible. What God thinks will also come to pass.

Numbers 33:56 – “Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

What you and I must understand is that we are made in God’s image and He has created us to function, perform, and create in this same fashion.

Now, we certainly are not on the same level as God but that does not diminish the fact that we are to operate in the same fashion as God. For example, Jesus tells us:

Mark 4:22 – “For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

Plainly, what you are thinking about inside of yourself will be manifested – it will materialize in your external world.

Jesus tells us in Mark 11:23 – “Say unto this mountain…

The reason He tells us to “say” is because saying gives greater intensity to your thoughts. Saying helps you clarify your thoughts and make them more focused, resulting in a greater intensity of thought.

Now, I want to make a CRITICAL point lest anyone should “worship the creature more than the creator” (Romans 1:25)…

This formula of using thoughts and words to create what we want is actually God working through us. It is how God expresses Himself through people. This is made very clear in 2 Corinthians 3:5 – “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God”.

Take a look at what's behind our "thoughts" and "words" in this verse:

Ephesians 3:20-21 – “Now unto him [God] that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

For further proof, look at Isaiah 57:19 where God tells us, “I create the fruit of the lips”. Similarly, Acts 17:28 tells us, “For in him [God] we live, and move, and have our being”. To study this out further, take a look at 1 Corinthians 8:6 and 2 Corinthians 1:20.

It is God’s desire that we think loving, beautiful, happy, healthy, wealthy thoughts (See Philippians 4:8) because that is what He wants to create in our lives – that is how He wants to express Himself through us.

But be warned, God also instructs us to “think no evil” (1 Corinthians 13:5) because if our lives are not buried and hid in Christ, then God will just as surely allow satan to create our evil thoughts in our lives. This is further confirmed when we study Ephesians Chapter 6.

To wrap this up…

Think about what God is like.

Think about how He does things.

Think about what He has.

Think about what He wants.

Study the Bible to really get a picture of God.

And then, fashion and pattern your thoughts, words, behaviors, and actions accordingly.

This is God’s will for your life as stated in 1 John 4:17 – “Because as he [God] is, so are we in this world”.

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 6

There are two things you need to beware of in manifesting that which you want in your life.

Let’s take a look at the first thing…

James 1:3-4 – Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Patience.

Patience is absolutely required.

Give God time to bring that which you want to you.

Don’t doubt that it’s coming just because you can’t see it or touch it yet.

Don’t start thinking that it isn’t God’s will for you to have it just because it hasn’t materialized yet.

By maintaining patience, you’ll have everything you want manifested in your life.

Somewhere I heard the comical story that at Heaven’s gate there are piles of undelivered gifts and blessings that were for people who “called” God to ask for them but “hung up” on Him before He could find out who they were and how to get the gift or blessing to them.

Don’t let impatience prevent you from having that which you want.

And now the second thing…

If we ask for the wrong kinds of things, we won’t get them.

James 4:3 – Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

This verse makes it clear that it is not God’s will to give you anything that is about bringing attention, recognition, or glory to you instead of to God.

How do we know if something is ok to ask for?

2 Corinthians 9:11 – Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

If what you want will enrich your life and the lives of other people, if it will bring glory and thanksgiving to God, then God wants you to have it.

Ask for it.

Believe for it.

Receive it.

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 5

If we read Romans 4:17-25, we can read about how Abraham (a man who had no son but desired greatly to have a son) was able to manifest a son in his life.

More importantly, we can see God’s formula for manifesting that which we want in our own lives.

Here’s the formula (with the portions of scripture from which the formula is derived):
  1. “calleth those things which be not as though they were.”

Decide what you want. What is it that you really want. Think it through. Write it down and get very clear on exactly what you want. Then, ask God for it. Once you’ve asked God for it, start thinking, talking, acting, and behaving as if it were already true – that what you want is already manifested in your life.
  2. “And being not weak in faith, he considered not…”

Do not be weak in faith. Give no consideration for external facts and circumstances that are contrary to what you want. Ignore how much of an impossibility what you want may seem to be. Think no more about what you don’t have or don’t want. Think only about what you do want.
  3. “He staggered not through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”

Do not stagger, waver, get discouraged, or grow impatient – all of which are forms of unbelief – while God is bringing that which you want to pass. While God is working to manifest that which you want, give Him thanks for it. Give Him the glory that is due His name.
  4. “And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”

Be fully persuaded that God is not only able to manifest what you want in your life, but that He WILL manifest it in your life.

Based on what you now know, you can more clearly see that “removing a mountain” as described in Mark 11:23-24 is just another example of God’s formula for manifesting that which you want in your life.

Mark 11:23 – “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

It’s exactly the same formula.

Decide what you want and then start thinking, talking, acting, and behaving as if it were true.

The reality is that “spiritually” it is true the moment you decide to have what you want and ask God for it. From there, if you maintain your faith in God, He will make it “physically” true – He will manifest it in your life.

We can see yet another rendition of God's manifestation formula that especially emphasizes the importance of not wavering or doubting in James 1:5...

"If any of you lack wisdom (replace wisdom with what it is that you want), let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord."

Go back up to steps #2 and #4 above and tie them to this verse - you must be persuaded that God will manifest that which you want in your life - not matter what external facts and circumstances indicate and no matter how impossible it may seem.

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 4

If you have been trying and trying to manifest that which you want in your life and it continues to elude you, this post may very well be the reason why you haven’t been able to receive it…

A key part to allowing what we want to manifest in our lives is to make sure that there are no obstructions. To make sure there are no negative feelings or emotions hidden or buried deep inside of us. To make sure “the path is clear” so that what we want can come to us.

Most Christians are familiar with these scriptures in Mark Chapter 11 – “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Many people have read this, believed it, and tried to apply it...

And, they did not receive what they wanted.

Why?

Because there is one more piece to the equation that is revealed in the very next verse:

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

This makes it perfectly clear that if we are to receive what we want, we have to forgive, forget, release, and let go of all negative emotions or feelings that we have against someone who we feel has done us wrong, has said hurtful things, or in some way, offended us.

1 John 2:11 tells us - "But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes."

Feelings of hatred on your part will cause you to “wander around in the darkness” unable to see your way to receiving that which you want.

Hatred will blind your eyes to the opportunities and “open doors” that will lead to you receiving that which you want.

1 John 4:18 - "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."

Fear is a “repellant”. It repels that which you want away from you. Fear creates all kinds of negative emotions that erect “barriers” between you and what you want.

On the other hand, love is an attractor. Love for God and love for people starts attracting that which you want towards you.

When you love other people, you want to help them get that which they want. You want to lift people up and build them up. You want to give yourself to help them – and that giving empties you out so that you can start receiving that which you want.

Ecclesastes 11:10 – "Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh."

“Feeling sorry for yourself” is yet another repellant to that which you want.

I’m not talking about Godly sorrow and repentance for wrong-doing.

I’m talking about the “nobody loves me”, “nobody cares for me”, “I’m all alone in this world” kind of negative thinking that puts you into a negative state of mind and that prevents you from receiving what you want.

Likewise, sin, evil works, and wrong-doing will stand between you and what you want. Why? Because your God-given conscience knows you are doing wrong which sets up a series of negative vibrations and emotions within yourself – no matter how hidden or deeply buried they may be – that shuts down your ability to receive that which you want.

Galatians 5:26 – “Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

When we try to bring glory to ourselves instead of to God, we create a contradictory set of vibrations within ourselves that will take us out of the flow that we need to be in to receive what we want.

When we are competing or in conflict or in any kind of “non-unity” with other people, we once again set up negative forces that hinder us from receiving that which we want.

When we envy and covet, we have strong emotional feelings about having what is in someone else’s possession – and these are once again, negative-based feelings that prevent us from receiving that which we want.

Not forgiving those who have done us wrong, hatred towards anyone, fear of any kind, feeling sorry for ourselves, sin or wrong-doing of any kind, contention, envy, judgment or any number of other negative feelings and emotions will distract and prevent us from receiving that which we want.

But, when we get rid of all these negative emotions and feelings, and we move into a positive state of mind, we open the doors, we clear the pathways to receiving that which we want.

How do we move into a positive state of mind?

We focus on love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance just like we are instructed in Galatians 5.

And when we consistently operate with these feelings and emotions, we'll soon find that which we want manifested in our lives.

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 3

Ecclesiastes 11:5As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
  • It's God who makes all things, who gives us all things, rich and good things to enjoy
  • We don’t have to know how He's going to do it
  • We don’t have to know who He's going to do it through
  • We don’t have to know the channel or the means by which He's going to do it
  • We just have to create the picture in our mind and hold to it with our belief – and let God make it.

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 2

Ecclesiastes 11:6In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.
  • Start trying things.
  • If you try two things, you don’t know if only one of them will work...
  • Or, if both of them will work
  • Notice the expectation that something is going to work
  • Notice the likelihood that things are going to work out for good more often than not
  • But it will never happen unless you step out of the “normal” and the “usual” and give something new a try.

Positive expectancy is a key part of allowing that which we want to manifest in our lives.

How To Allow What We Want To Manifest In Our Life – Part 1

Ecclesiastes 11:4"He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap."
  • A person can always find reasons within themselves to not step out and try something new.
  • There will always be people who will tell you that you can’t do it or that you shouldn’t do it.
  • When you base your actions and your beliefs on external appearances and circumstances, you will always get more of what you already have. As implied, this means that you WILL NOT get that which you do want.
  • To start manifesting new, different, and better results in your life, you must start looking at something besides external circumstances.
  • That’s where your mind comes into play. You use your mind to imagine, create, and visualize the external circumstances that you really want.
  • Once you’ve used your creative imagination to build a clear mental vision of what you really want, your free-will and your faith then come into play.
  • You use the free-will that God has given you to choose to have faith in God that the “seeds” you have “planted” in your mind will start sprouting and growing into your external and physical world
  • Seed planted in your mind (positive or negative) will sprout and grow into your external world just as surely as planting a seed in the earth will sprout and grow.
  • Notice that there are dual obstacles… the obstacle of “planting” the seed and the obstacle of “harvesting” the fruit. You can fail to have what you want at either obstacle point. Many people never actually decide what they really want and then actively pursue it. But for those few who do, there is a second failure point... A person can go through all the effort of imagining, mentally creating, and visualizing what they want – sowing the seeds. But, if that same person doesn’t hold to what they’ve “planted” with their free-will and faith – regardless of what external circumstances look like – they’ll not reap the harvest.
  • Sowing and reaping in the physical sense is dirty, dusty, laborious, and time-intensive work. There’s nothing glamorous about it. In the same sense, sowing and reaping that which we want in our physical lives IS hard MENTAL and SPIRITUAL work. But, when the harvest comes rolling in, it will have been well worth all the effort.
  • The farmer knows that the effort and cost it takes to have a good harvest is far less than the cost of having a long, cold winter WITHOUT a harvest to sustain and support. Likewise, the effort and cost to have what we really want in our lives is far less than the cost of passing through life reacting negatively to all the circumstances we find confronting us in our physical world.
