Wanting a Blessing While Cursing Everything…

Have you ever noticed…

When you’re attending a church service, it’s EASY to BLESS the Lord and to thank Him for His many blessings…

But, from the time you step outside your church’s doors until the time you step back inside them, it’s EASY to CURSE everything in your life?

Nobody means to…

Often, people don’t even realize they’re doing it…

They gripe about ________.

They complain about ________.

They’re unhappy about ________ and they tell everyone so.

You’ve heard them…

Maybe, you’ve heard yourself…

“That stupid ________ never works. I hate that thing!”

“That neighbor of ours is such an idiot. He’s going to mess around and tear up our ________.”

“You kids haven’t got a brain in your head do you? All you know how to do is destroy ________.”

“My boss thinks his sole purpose in life is to make my life miserable!”

“Come on you piece of junk car, start!”

"This economy is killing my business!"

"One more down-slide on my stocks and I'm going to be ruined!"

"I can't get rid of this headache!"

As Jesus told Saul (Paul) in Acts 9:5, “It’s hard for thee to kick against the pricks”.

As it pertains to you and I…

It’s hard for us to attract blessings into our life if we are actively cursing – no matter how hard or soft – no matter how direct or indirect – everything that’s currently in our experience.

Let’s make a change. Let’s do this instead…

Let’s bless everybody and everything for good – both in church and out of church.

Remember, "ALL things work together FOR GOOD to them that love God".

You love God, right?

That means that no matter how things "appear" in your experience, you can KNOW that it's a "package of GOOD" specially-prepared by God for YOU.

So, if you can go ahead and BLESS EVERYTHING in your experience, that good can get to you – faster.

Peace, Love, and Blessings,

Lane...thanks for taking time to point out something I need to fix in my own life. It's become so habitual, I didn't even notice it anymore. Thanks for helping clear a path to the blessings our Father would love to heap on me.

Thanks Lane for enlightening me. Its very true that whatever we declare with our mouths is very strong and that we attract into our lives whatever we think and talk. God bless you

Your emails are always right on time. I thank God for you and your obedience to allowing God to use you. I will start to watch my words to be careful not to curse what God has meant for good.

A couple of my ministry friends began working with a young man who had one of the classic mental conditions. The young man had no "filter" and would curse and get angry quickly. They told the young man, that God loved him and wants Him to become a mighty man of God. At first the young man replied that he was just an evil sinner and was going to hell. They countered that with, "No, you are destined to be a mighty man of God."
When the young man cursed again they said, "No, mighty men of God do not curse or get angry like that." Soon, when the young man started to curse, he would catch himself by putting his hand over his mouth.
Over time, my friends continued to share about Jesus and encourage the young man. The anger and cursing diminished. One day, while the young man was walking by one of my friends, he stopped and looked at my friend and said, "The Lord says, '...'," and proceeded to speak a word of knowledge to my friend. It was accurate to certain facts in the past that only my friend and God could have known. The young man also began to receive dreams and visions from the Lord (Joel 2:28) which also bore the true stamp of the Father's authorship.
My friends chose to bless instead of curse this young man and it radically changed his life. His mind, which had become a playground for the evil one, was now the playground of God.

very true
what we focus on (frequently confess about) magnifies
now i have anew mantra since ALL things are working out for my good (as I love G-d)

'Everything and everyone is prospering me now'
(including satan's missiles/ tools of :enemies, broken relationships/ communications, tornadoes, financial disaster, mother-in-law, you get the drift...)

even believers asked me how i can have such a 'mantra' ( that being for Buddhists/ meditators' groups only! if only we can translate the Scriptures into layman daily thinking, it is much easier to absorb and implement!

thanks for your many words of encouragement and in-depth analysis of our heart conditons they brought us. Stay blessed!
