The Thinking Formula

Most people think that they think. However, very few people actually do real, deep, meaningful, and smart thinking that accomplishes great things and results in superior advantages.

So, how do you do real, smart thinking? Here’s how:

Write it down on paper. Don’t worry about getting it perfect, just get it down. Once it’s down, then you can refine it, correct it, alter it, clarify it, and perfect it. Which is exactly the point. An idea or thought in its infant state is too fuzzy. By putting it down on paper, you remove the ambiguity and develop clarity.

Once it’s on paper, then search for as many answers to the following questions as possible:

What patterns are there?

What relationships are there?

What distinctions or differentiations are there?

What are some other ways to organize it?

What other perspectives might there be?

What’s missing or should be added?

What should be removed?

If you think about it, the above process is exactly what book authors do. It’s no wonder our society considers authors to be “experts”.

Granted, it doesn’t make sense to write a book on everything you want to think about, but by applying a scaled down version to important things that merit and warrant smart thinking – it won’t be long and people will start viewing you as “smart” and an “expert”.

Why is this important?

This is important because people who are “smart” and who are “experts” attract greater money and better opportunities than other people do.

People who have more money and better opportunities can do more in the Kingdom of God.

A Powerful Tool Called Visualization...

The following is derived from the writing of Genevieve Behrend:

Visualizing is the great secret of success.

Deliberately picture your desire and carefully examine your picture.

When you can visualize your hearts desire and hold it with your will, it attracts to you all things requisite to the fulfillment of that picture by the law of attraction.

The conscious use of this great power attracts to you multiplied resources, intensifies your wisdom and enables you to make use of advantages which you formerly failed to recognize.

Hurry is fear and consequently destructive.

The Art Of Liberation…

Lord God, You are my Lord and I am Your Servant. I thank you for Your mercy, grace, forgiveness, and salvation unto me.

All that I have, You have given unto me and I thank You for it.

All that I am, You have made me and I praise You for it.

All that I do is to bring glory, honor, praise, thanksgiving, and increase unto You. Thank you for using me in Your will and Your way.

Lord God, You are in charge of my affairs and my business. You are in charge and I report to You. I take my direction from You. Because You are in charge and because You cannot fail, and because I take my direction from You, I cannot fail.

When I feel nervous or scared, that’s when I know I have stepped out of my position and tried to take control away from You. When I feel afraid or upset, that is your signal to me that I need to give control back to You and follow Your direction with full confidence and trust.

In You Lord do I move, breath, and have my being. In You Lord, I am a Millionaire For Jesus abounding unto every good work.

Thank You Lord for the great and wonderful things that You are doing through me.

Amen.

Peace, Love, and Blessings,

God’s Formula…

Are you interested in eliminating lack from your life?

Are you interested in bringing good things into your possession?

Here is God’s formula for eliminating lack and bringing good things into your life.

John 15: 7 – “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

As always, there is the same contingency, we have to be in right-standing with God and our lives surrendered to Christ.

Assuming you are where you need to be in Christ, did you get the full significance of Christ’s words – “ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”?

Consider God’s formula from the James 1:5 angle; “If any of you lack ____, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Now, I know that the scripture uses the word wisdom but in reality it is a formula that you can instantiate by simply filling in the blank with your need and exercising the formula.

I want you to notice two things especially:

Liberally
This word "liberally" means to give in an unrestrained or unstinting way. Synonyms for this word include bountiful, freehanded, generous, handsome, munificent, and openhanded. This makes it plain to us that God isn’t interested in giving “just enough”. God isn’t a “skimpy” giver. God isn’t a “cheapskate”. God isn’t “tight-fisted”. (See Luke 6:38)

Upbraideth Not
The word “upbraid” means to reprove sharply, to use as grounds for censor, or to express criticism towards. Clearly, God is saying that He will not reprove, censor, or criticize you for asking of Him.

Aren’t you thankful that we have a God who gives to us “liberally” and who “upbraideth not”?

Put God's formula for eliminating lack in your life and for bringing good things into your possession to work today.

Relative To Your Business Time…

To those of you who would like to become a Millionaire For Jesus, consider how I select the use of my business time…
  1. My quality of life is determined by what I give first place to.
  2. I don’t let someone who didn't do what they were supposed to do, when they were supposed to do it, drop their “fire” in my lap. Otherwise, my whole day will go up in smoke because of some “arsonist”.
  3. When I have long and short-term goals, I know where I want to go and it's easy to determine whether or not the work, tasks, and projects I’m working on will take me there.
  4. Leveraging my business time isn’t hard. All I have to do is block out time for myself – close the door, turn off the phone, shut down email, remove all distractions – and focus on the one single thing that my intuition (God speaking to my heart) tells me has the highest revenue-generating potential.
  5. It really is as simple as letting my intuition (God speaking to my heart) guide me in what it is that has the highest revenue-generating potential, and then having the discipline and resolve to concentrate and focus single-mindedly on that one thing until it is complete or there is absolutely nothing else I can do towards completing it. Then, I let my intuition (God speaking to my heart) guide me to the next thing that has the highest revenue-generating potential and I repeat the process.
  6. If I don’t set aside time for myself each business day, then I do not value myself or my time.
  7. If I don’t focus on the one thing that my intuition (God speaking to my heart) tells me has the highest revenue-generating potential, then I do not value myself or my time.
  8. The natural tendency for all of us is to “major in minors” and to give in to the temptation to clear up the small things first. After all, small things are easier and they are often more fun than the big, important things that represent the most valuable use of our time. However, “majoring in minors” means that I will have a minor income and minor results in life! But, by focusing single-mindedly on the one thing that has the highest revenue-generating potential, I will have major income and major results in life!
  9. In business, there are certain things that I must constantly do:
  • Prospecting: Look for new people who need my products and services.
  • Networking: Get out of my office and give myself the opportunity to meet new people.
  • Contact People: Pick up the phone. Mail the sales letters. Send the emails. Do something to make something happen.
  • Talk To People: Ask good questions. Search for problems. Discover new trends, ideas, or opportunities. Learn.
  • Make An Offer: Tell people what I have to offer and ask them to buy.
  • Product Development: Develop or find new products or services that will make my customers lives better and easier.
  • Learn: Learn how to do all of the above better, faster, easier, more creatively

How much business time you spend on your business – whether 1 hour per day, 1 day per week, 3 days a week, or 5 days a week, matters only in the sense of how fast you will achieve what it is that you want to achieve. What’s most important is that you consistently set aside this business time for yourself with no exceptions.

Here are the two really important reasons why I am so careful and strict about how I spend my business time:

  1. Family Time: The important people in my life equate how much I love them and care about them to how much quality, uninterrupted, time I spend with them. If I get too busy to spend time with my spouse, children, family, and friends, I will eventually lose them as they go off into their own personal world of other people and other activities. By being very careful with and strict about my business time, I put myself in a position both time-wise and money-wise where I can enjoy my family time to the fullest.
  2. God Time: I must make sure that I devote time to God every day. If I don’t keep my relationship with Christ up-to-date, then I will soon lose the connection and the source to everything I want and need. By being very careful with and strict about my business time, I put myself in a position both time-wise and money-wise where I can be of maximum service and value to the Kingdom of God.

It's All There For You If You Want It...

There are many, many scriptures in the Bible that tell us that everything that exists is Gods. It came from Him and it belongs to Him.

For example, Psalms 89:11 says; “The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

But God doesn’t want it or need it. He’s self sufficient, omnipotent, and all in all. He made it for those who follow after Him. He made it to give to His children. There are many scriptures and Biblical examples that reveal this.

As an example, Deuteronomy 28:8 says, “The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Here’s my point:
  1. Whatever customers you need, they are God’s to give you.
  2. Whatever resources you need, they are God’s to give you.
  3. Whatever support you need, it is God’s to give you.
  4. Whatever __fill in the blank__ you need, it is God’s to give you.

However, there are two requirements that must be met in order for you to receive of God.

First, you must be surrendered to Christ and following after God. If you aren’t, then not only will you NOT receive the blessing, but you will receive God’s curse.

Second, you must “set your hand unto it”. In other words, you must do your part to prepare yourself and to be ready to receive from God.

For example, if you need customers but don’t have a valuable product or service to offer them, God isn’t going to give you the customers because you haven’t set your hand unto it to be ready for them.

To continue this example, if you do have a valuable product or service but you won’t communicate to the marketplace that you have a valuable offer, God isn’t going to give you the customers because you haven’t set your hand unto it to reach them.

But, when you have a valuable product or service and you have communicated your offer to the marketplace, THEN “The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee”.

God has no lack and He is well able to make you a Millionaire For Jesus. The question is, will you move into position where you can receive it of Him?

Elephant Watching...

Who do you give money to?

When you sit down and start writing checks…

When you pull out your debit card or credit card…

Who is it going to?

What is it that they doing?

What is it that they are providing you with that is causing you to give them money?

What is their strategy?

What tactics and techniques did they use on you that worked?

What words or numbers did they use that caused you to give them money?

How did they get you to choose them as opposed to someone else or something else?

What was the “thing” that triggered you to move from a “don’t touch my money” position to “let me give you some of my money” position? What was that “deciding” moment?

Really think about these questions. Start watching and looking for the answers.

As the old phrase goes, “Elephants leave big tracks.” Anyone can see what the people who are making money are doing if they will just start looking and watching how wealth is created.

Pay attention to how value is created and presented and marketed and sold. Look for patterns. Look for the big picture. Look for the key components that make up the big picture.

Once you start seeing “it” (how wealth is created), take your knowledge, experience, and abilities, add in your trust in God and God’s desire to do something great through you to determine how you can do the same things or similar things as those who have already figured out how to create wealth and take action to start implementing it.

Problem is, most people are so focused on spending to make themselves feel good or look good that they never think about or pay attention to how money is really made.

Little rudders turn big ships… a little shift in your thinking can have a big effect on your financial resources and what you are capable of accomplishing in God’s Kingdom…
