The Secret Of The Lips

Isaiah 57:19 reveals an AMAZING secret to us, “I create the fruit of the lips…saith the Lord.”

What words are coming across your lips?

Not sure?

Well, just look around you. Look at your life. Look at your results. Look at your bank account. What you see is the physical creation of the words that you say.

Do you like what you see?

Would you like for things to be different?

If so, then all you have to do is change the words that you use, add some faith in God, and allow a little time for things to change.

Listen up…

As long as you see and say what you have, then you will always have nothing more than what you have right now.

But, when you can consistently see in your mind and say with your mouth what you want, you will soon have what you want.

The caveat is that you must hold to what you see and say no matter what others around you are saying and regardless of what circumstances may look like.

Your words will manifest themselves in your life – negative or positive.

When everything around you has the “look” of poverty, speak words of wealth.

When your checkbook register shows a zero balance, speak words of abundance.

When you feel like you are a “nothing-aire” speak the words that you are a Millionaire for Jesus and that you abound unto every good work to the Glory of God.

One more thing, keep in mind that the “middle” of something is usually pretty ugly. For example, in the middle of a surgery, “appearances” make it look like there has been an axe murderer on the loose. But at the “end” that person’s health is restored.

So, always, always, always see, say, and believe the end result that you want no matter what the beginning and middle might look like.

A Warning For Men

Stay with me to the end now because the following may be having a huge LIMITING impact on your ability to grow and increase your WEALTH…

Matthew 5:28 – “But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”

Jesus did not tell us not to lust after other women just because He didn’t want us to have any fun. He told us this because He wanted the BEST for you and I and because He understood the severe consequences of lust.

What are the consequences?

Well, there are actually quite a few consequences described in the Bible. However, we are only going to concern ourselves in this setting with the one that pertains to MONEY.

Let’s take a look…

Job 31:1 - "I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?"
Job 31:9 - "If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door;"
Job 31:11 - "For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges."
Job 31:12 - "For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would ROOT OUT ALL MINE INCREASE."

These scriptures make it clear what we are to refrain from:

• Sexual fantasies about some person you aren’t married to
• The advances of a whorish woman
• Seeking a sexual relationship with someone you aren’t married to

Why? Because the consequences are two-fold:

1. To do so becomes a mental wildfire that eats away at you until eventually you will start trying to act it out in reality and it completely destroys you, your home, your career, your life, and everything that is important to you.
2. God’s curses your financial situation and removes your ability to achieve financial increase.

Am I talking to you?

Can you now see why your success has consistently been just out of reach and why you’ve never been able to get ahead?

Here’s the three-part solution...

Part one of the solution can be found in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Get on your knees and confess your sin to Jesus Christ and ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you and to give you the power to overcome this sin.

Part two of the solution was in Job 31:1, “I made a covenant with mine eyes”. You must determine in your heart – you must make up your mind – that you are going to control what your physical eyes are going to look at and what your “mental” eyes are going to dwell upon.

Part three of the solution is to continuously quote to yourself Psalms 101:3, “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes.”

PUT AWAY the pornography.

PUT AWAY the TV and the movies with nudity, sexual themes and sexual innuendos.

I know that in our society, this can be a challenge but you can do it – you MUST do it – if you want your FORTUNE to INCREASE.

Instead, put your focus, your attention, and your attraction upon the companion you are married to and let God bless your LIFE and your FINANCIAL SITUATION.

Bottom line, don’t let your eyes and your imagination take away your fortune and destroy your life and everything that is really important to you. Rather, choose to be a Millionaire For Jesus.

Job 22:21-26 tells us, “Acquaint now thyself with him (God/Jesus), and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart. If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver. For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.”

Now, it is CRITICAL that you pay real close attention as we extract the SECRETS from these verses…

“Acquaint now thyself with him” – Here, we are instructed to get to know the Lord, to develop a relationship with Him.

“at peace” – This defines the state of mind of the person who is truly acquainted with the Lord. On the other hand, those who are not acquainted with the Lord crave constant entertainment and recreation or they will go absolutely CRAZY…because they have no real peace.

“good shall come unto thee” – For those who are truly acquainted with the Lord, good comes to them. Notice that it COMES to them. In contrast, those who are not acquainted with the Lord are chasing and pursuing. Then, for the few who actually “catch” what they are chasing, they then discover that it wasn’t what they really wanted so they take off pursuing something else. And, they can never attain what they really want because what they are looking for comes from God.

“lay up his words in thine heart” – The Bible gives us the ability to acquaint ourselves with the Lord. And, it gives us the information we need to take the ALL IMPORTANT next step…

“If thou return to the Almighty” – Here’s the condition. Here’s what you’ve got to do if you want the promises fulfilled in your life. This is the HINGE POINT upon which every thing you want swings.

“thou shalt be built up” – Who wants God to build them up? I certainly do!

“thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles” – Iniquity is defined as wickedness, sinfulness, and immorality. And here’s why you WANT to put it away from your heart, home, and business (tabernacles). Iniquity takes away. It drains. It steals. It destroys. It results in the opposite of all the good that God wants in YOUR life.

“Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks” – Some of your fortune will be made up of smaller INCOME-PRODUCING ASSETS (dust) but yet they are still very valuable because they minimize your risk. Some of your fortune will be made up of bigger INCOME-PRODUCING ASSETS (stones).

“Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence” – Who wants God to be their protector and defender? I certainly do!

“thou shalt have plenty of silver” – This is the money to pay for expenses, utilities, needs, and enjoyment of life. This is your SPENDING money and is distinctly separate from your FORTUNE.

“thy delight in the Almighty” – God’s blessings in your life should cause you to want to get even better acquainted with Him and cause you to want to turn to Him even more.

“lift up thy face unto God” – At the very core of your being, you should want to look up to God with praise and thanksgiving. And, when God sees your praise and thanksgiving, He will bless you even more.

WOW!

Think about what you have just read. I mean really think about it. In fact, go back to the top of this post and reread the whole thing.

It is my opinion that this setting of scripture better describes the kind of life God wants His people to have than any other setting of scripture.

And, as you noticed, this setting of scripture is contained in the book of Job. As you probably know, the entire book is the story of Job going through hardship, heartbreak, sickness and disease, and poverty.

Guess what? You too will find hard and difficult times in your walk with God. BUT, just as it was with Job, they are short-term and temporary situations where God is “trying” you to see if you truly love and trust Him above all else.

So, get acquainted with God through His Son Jesus Christ and gain these powerful benefits and blessings – PEACE, WEALTH, PROTECTION – in YOUR life.

Are you acting like a Lobster?

"A lobster when left high and dry among the rocks, has not instinct and energy enough to work his way back to the sea, but waits for the sea to come to him. If it does not come, he remains where he is and dies, although the slightest effort would enable him to reach the waves, which are perhaps within a yard of him. The world is full of human lobsters: Men stranded on the rocks of indecision and procrastination, who, instead of putting forth their own energies, are waiting for some grand billow of good fortune to set them afloat." -- Dr. Orrison Swett Marden.

Look at what the Lobster does... it waits.

How many people do you know who are waiting for "luck" to turn on them? Are you one of those people?

Look at the phrase, "the slightest effort would enable him".

The lobster wouldn't even have to do anything fantastic, grandiose, marvelous, or spectacular. It just needs to put forth a "slight" effort.

Are you putting forth even a slight effort to become a Millionaire For Jesus?

Spend some time really thinking about and meditating upon this quote. Let it really register in the very core of your being. Let God talk to your heart.

Here’s Another Set Of Thinking Patterns, Which One Is Yours?

Are you clutching to the job you currently have?

Do you feel that today’s economic system is just too shaky?

Are you afraid to step out in faith and start offering your KEABA (see previous posts) to the marketplace?

Do you feel that the future is too uncertain for you to do something as risky as starting your own business?

My friend, if this is how you think, feel, and believe, you are in a DANGEROUS place.

Why?

Because for you to be thinking, feeling, and believing this way means that you are trusting in this world, you are trusting in man, you are trusting in anything and everything except God.

Jeremiah 17:5 tells us, “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.”

Do you see yourself in this scripture? I sincerely hope not.

But here’s where it gets good…

In Psalms 37:17,19, we see how the Christian – the Millionaire For Jesus – should be thinking: “The Lord upholdeth the righteous…They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.”

Wow! Isn’t that a wonderful verse?

Think about the Lord holding you, keeping you, guiding you, protecting you.

Think about you rejoicing, prospering, succeeding during hard times and evil times.

Think about having plenty as you walk with God while those trusting in man and this world are in a famine.

Do you see that just because the people of this world are going through hard times doesn’t mean that you have to go through hard times?

Now, I’m not saying that Christians (Millionaires For Jesus) will never face difficulties or unpleasant circumstances. But I am saying that when you are trusting in God, you are no longer at the mercy of this world, its people, or its systems.

When you are trusting in God, you are connected to God Almighty who CANNOT fail. Anything that you face, you KNOW that God will bring you through it and when its done, you are going to be in a better position than you were before the unpleasant situation arose.

As I heard one person say about the story of Job in the Bible, “God gave him DOUBLE for his TROUBLE”.

So now, step back and ask yourself, “Do you think God has any concern or worry over the current economic situation?”

The answer is obviously, “Absolutely NOT!”

And you shouldn’t either.

Which one of these thinking patterns is yours?

If you watched, read, or listened to the news today, what did you hear?

If you are like most people, it was just NOISE. Occasionally, something in the news is remarkable enough that people will comment about it or express an opinion about it to their co-workers, friends, or family. And usually, their comments and opinions are negative and/or judgmental. And then they go on with their lives the same as before.

If you heard co-workers, customers, friends, family, or any person for that matter complain or gripe about something today, what did you do?

If you are like most people, you just say, that’s old so-and-so blowing off steam. Maybe, you even agreed with them and added a little more griping and complaining to the mix. But then, you went on about your business – the same as before.

Millionaires For Jesus on the other hand, think quite differently.

Every bit of information or stimuli that comes into their life, they are thinking about it in terms of their KEABA (see previous posts) and how they might capitalize on the information or stimuli.

They take all of the negativity of information or stimuli and try to figure out how they can turn it into a positive, fruitful, profitable, situation or scenario.

Consider this verse in 2 Corinthians 9:11: “Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.”

Interesting verse isn’t it?

Obviously, God wants us to be ENRICHED in everything that comes across our path. And, the result He is looking for out of your life and mine is BOUNTIFULNESS.

Why does He want this?

Once again (just as we have seen many times already in previous posts) God wants His name glorified and His Kingdom expanded.

So going back to our first question… if you watched, read, or listened to the news today, were you thinking ENRICHMENT and BOUNTIFULNESS?

Or was you thinking something else?

When you heard that person griping and complaining, were you thinking about how you could find or create a solution that was ENRICHING and BOUNTIFUL?

Or were you thinking something else?

Something to think about, isn't it?
